The jersey needle has a rounded, semi-spherical ball point whose diameter is approximately 20% of the blade's diameter. These needles are designed to alleviate making holes in knit or loosely woven materials. The rounded tip slips between yarns rather than piercing them. Uses: knit and stretchy fabrics such as spandex and lycra. 5 needles per card, sold 5 cards per box.
